At the age of 13 (2009), I started working as a cigarette rollers. I was then given the opportunity to go back to school and learn from my seniors in all positions in the tobacco company.
My desire to move forward led me to learn how to compound tobacco and cloves. Plus learning management/administration/finance for this traditional tobacco business (2010-2015).
At the age of 19, I reached the position of Assistant Manager. In 2016, the family company moved to Semarang, Central Java. Here I became more involved with the Tobacco business, my job was to source and select quality tobacco and cloves throughout Central Java (Temanggung, Weleri, Wonosobo, Boyolali etc), East Java (Jember, Madura etc).
With an in-depth knowledge of tobacco and clove blends, Damayanti Zahar and I proudly continued the traditional culture of our ancestors by establishing the company PT. PUTRI TEMBAKAU INDONESIA in Semarang City at the end of 2019.

Damayanti Zahar, is a doctor who devotes herself to humanitarian activities in conflict areas in several parts of the world.
Since 2004 until now she has joined Medicins Sans Frontieres / Doctors Without Borders / Doctors Across Borders, an International Organization (Non-Government Organization) engaged in the field of Health and Humanity (since 1971). He worked/served in several conflict countries such as: Nigeria, Liberia, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, Burundi, Angola, Central Africa, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, Yemen, Sri Lanka, and even Somalia.
His love for the world of tobacco, so he studied and explored tobacco with Indonesian farmers. In 2019 Damayanti Zahar established her first factory in SEMARANG,
called Putri Tembakau Indonesia, the basis of this name is because 99% of our workers are women, from rollers, mixers and wrappers. The entire manufacture of our tobacco is done in the traditional Indonesian way.
